Concert feedback from audience members
- ‘I really enjoyed it and it’s a great orchestra, a very high standard! The orchestra played beautifully and it was a great evening.
The Tchaikovsky is dramatic and I liked the gong 😁 lots of fanfare style and lovely melodies’
- ‘amazing… a real treat…sat there in amazement and soon forgot about how cold it was…so much energy…absolutely superb,…absolutely loved it,….now joined the Facebook group so will keep an eye out for future concerts!’
- This was the best performance yet from the orchestra. Such tight playing, and very dramatic!
Feedback from our deps
I enjoyed the concert and the experience immensely. I felt very welcome. I admire everyone’s tenacity in the cold conditions. It’s possibly my first indoor concert wearing a down vest! We didn’t make it to the pub as we went straight home to warm up with hot chocolate. Thank you again for the lovely bottle of wine. (from the trombonist)
And from former conductor, Chris Golding
I loved the Tchaikovsky. Strings played so well in what is very difficult music. Some lovely woodwind moments in the second movement and brass and percussion added a lot especially to the finale.
